Research Process
◆ Webpage
After conducting research and interviews, we acquired a vast amount of intricate information that proved challenging to organize and categorize. We were unsure of how to begin and how to present the information on the Satoyama Initiative and its related matters on a webpage. We also crossed swords with presenting the information effectively to web page visitors. To facilitate the introduction of the Satoyama Initiative webpages, our teachers suggested coming up with five major categories, likening it to a farming process: Planting Seeds, Green Conservation, Harmonious Coexistence, Heroes Behind Conservation, and Rooting for Our Seeds. The teachers then divided us into groups, with each group assigned a leader for a specific category. We utilized these categories to classify first-hand and secondary information, and data from the interviews, as well as how our school creates a comfortable home environment for the wildlife. Our teachers guided us in creating an overall framework for this project, enabling us to proceed with the subsequent steps independently.
