Professor Chien-Chih, Chen
Chen, Chien-Chih is a retired professor from the Department of Earth and Life Science at the University of Taipei. His research expertise includes zoology, entomology, ecological conservation, and natural science education, with teaching areas such as urban and rural ecology, environmental science research, biological resource conservation research, wildlife conservation, biodiversity conservation, ecotourism research, and project research. He visited our school on November 3rd, 2022. During the visit, Professor Chen was taken to the school's rural area and Green Heart Garden, enabling him to learn more about the school. Afterward, he gave a lecture about the Satoyama Initiative and how it can be implemented in the Nature Area, as well as discussed the importance of biodiversity conservation and methods of ecological protection.
