Research Process
◆ Interview Information
Following the interview, we were ready to arrange our notes and transform them into written information. During the interview, we diligently documented everything that Professor Chen conveyed. Afterwards, we summarized the key points and jotted down the most significant details. However, the recording and note-taking phases were only the initial steps. During our project time, we each revisited our notes, refined and clarified them to ensure everyone understood. Learning how to organize interview information proved to be incredibly valuable. The purpose of collecting interview data was to capture what was said quickly and accurately, while also allowing us to revisit and explore ideas long after the interview concluded. Consequently, we recognized the importance of learning how to organize interview data. Our first step was identifying the main ideas from our notes. Then, we searched for relevant keywords and main concepts from the conversation. After organizing the data into distinct documents, we could easily locate the information we needed by typing in the keywords. This skill of keyword scanning was especially beneficial when we wrote reports for this project. Ultimately, organizing the interview data was a straightforward process.
