Research Process
◆ Research Team
At our school, students in the higher grades select their school clubs based on their talents and interests. The Research Club is one of the options available. In the Research Club, we learn to collaborate on authentic, project-based learning and participate in the 2023 International CyberFair. I was thrilled when the school announced that I was selected for this club because joining it is different from others. At the beginning of the first semester, the school invited interested students to join this club. I recognized this as an exceptional opportunity and decided to take on the challenge. During the selection process, numerous students showed an interest in the club. Then, more than fifty nervous students, including me, awaited the teacher's instructions. Fifty students were considered for the club, which required strong research skills, but only a few were selected to participate. Eventually, in September of the previous year, nine students were chosen to form the club for the academic year. Although we had heard about the club, the CyberFair was a new challenge for us. The teachers explained the International CyberFair in detail, including how we would work as a team to discuss the topic for the web project, organize research data, conduct field observations, create web pages, and design each page's framework. Following the instructions, we studied previous work, which boosted our enthusiasm. We committed to putting in more effort and time to make ourselves and our school proud!
