For the members in the cyber club, typing and editing the transcript is absolutely the most challenging task, but it is also the most effective way to familiarize ourselves with the topic. Typing the transcript seems easy because all we need to do is type down the words from the recording. However, it’s not easy at all. If our typing speed isn’t fast enough, we will have to stop the recording constantly to type down the transcript. We need to be very concentrated and patient to edit the transcripts. Although typing transcripts is challenging, we still learned some useful skills to help while doing it, like using voice typing to record the interview.
