When I was little, I dreamed about becoming a singer. I once recorded a demo CD and sent it to a record label for an audition. Of course, I didn’t win the audition.
As I was growing older, I studied in a medical school and became an obstetrician, just like my father. In my thirties, my colleague Dr. Yi-Ning, Su and I started a private practice. We started a well-known obstetrics and gynecology clinic in Taiwan, and we did make a fortune from it. Since my wife and I don’t have children, in my forties, we decided to do something meaningful with our money and give back to society.
My wife and I have always wanted to devote ourselves to help the underprivileged minority. Two years ago, after the outbreak of Covid-19, we decided to put our dream into action, so we established X5 Charity Foundation.
