The ecological network in Taiwan is related to the Satoyama Initiative. In the process of building a national ecological green network, the Satoyama Initiative promoted partnerships at all levels to enhance local action and community capacity to maintain local biodiversity and create sustainable livelihoods. At the beginning of the Satoyama Initiative, the Forestry Bureau tried to promote and play the role of the convening body of the Satoyama Initiative partnership network in Taiwan. It aims to consider how to use state-owned forest business areas as the axis to promote a friendly environment and further structure the overall ecological green network of the country, to make Taiwan's green ecosystem more sound.
