Our annual Interclass Competition for each grade level took place in the last week of the Fall Semester, from January 17th to 19th, after students finished their final assessments and the academic pressure was off. While every student had an opportunity to present to their classmates in their English class, their numbers were whittled down to the final groups who advanced to the grand finale and presented to all the students in the grade level, faculty, and judges.

During our final competitions, the atmosphere in the concert hall was excitable, tense, and expectant. The audience was both informed and entertained by the performers, and the judges certainly had their work cut out for them determining the winners. We were impressed as each of the contestants gave their performances, each unique and full of passion. On this page is a list of all the contestants who officially placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd; in their grade level competition. At the end of the day, all participants who stepped forward and performed on stage were winners!

After not being able to gather in the concert hall last year, it was lovely to see all our students together this year to participate in this remarkable competition that challenges our young speakers to be confident, compelling, and charismatic in their presentation skills. This competition is a great way for us to foster a fun and competitive environment where students can express themselves and take their presentation skills to the next level. Congratulation to all the winners. We look forward to next year’s Interclass Competition!

This year's Interclass Competition was held at the end of the Fall Semester instead of the beginning of the Spring Semester. After the final assessment was finished, students had more time to practice and were more engaged in the preparation for the competition. The main goal of this event is to encourage healthy competition among students and nourish their interest in learning English. We were really impressed by the confidence and great performances of all the contestants.

The collared scops owl came to nest and lay eggs in our campus again. This exciting news sparked our grade 5 students' interests and awareness in protecting endangered animals. After researching the threats that wild animals face, the students decided to take action to raise awareness to prevent the animals from extinction. To make their presentation more fun, the students decided to turn the information into interactive digital games. Each collaborative team visited one of our grade 3 classes to host their newly developed game. Would you like to learn more about the endangered animals in Taiwan? Try their games. Join them in protecting some of our most vulnerable wildlife species.
